The BPQC standard described above, shares 3 of the pillars that underpin GCSA – The Global Quality Standard for Clinical Research Sites (the only internationally recognized certification for sites). The GCSA 7-pillar framework was developed over 4 years in consultation with opinion leaders within Pharma/Biotech, CROs, commercial and NHS sites, Government and Regulatory Authorities. The framework continues to evolve with the ongoing support of a Global Advisory Board, comprised of leading global industry representatives.
